"Having investigated the cost of re-glazing spectacles via high street opticians I 'bit the bullet' and sent four old frames, along with my prescription off to Specs-by-Post. All single vision - two plain pair reading, one pair reading transition and one pair transition distance. Total cost including postage £115.40. Sent last Monday week and completed order received last Thursday. I've used them for the past week for reading (both plain and transition) and driven close to 500 miles using the transition distance specs - no lenses popping out or any other negatives. All have met requirements to perfection. If you want fab new frames this won't necessarily suit you but if you're on a budget or have frames you really like wearing I highly recommend this company. They also have a range of frames you might like too if you are confident to buy before you try. Lindsay, the lady I spoke to, couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.
