Now I have over 30 years experience in optics and precision manufacturing it has become more than just a job. I have a passion to manufacture to the greatest possible accuracy and to produce every job to the same high standards as though they were made for a member of my family.
I began training as an Optical Glazer in the private sector and this proved to be the perfect place to learn the necessary skills and eventually became a partner in this business., I widened my experience with Vision Express as a lab manager in one of their busiest optical stores. I then had the opportunity to become a Specsavers store Director which gave further valuable experience and most recently Managing Director of a successful independent Optical Surfacing/Glazing House.
With this wealth of experience, I am able to keep all costs to an absolute minimum, not just the lens and frame, but also the manufacturing costs are very low. This is achieved by not having a high street presence, so keeping rent and rates down.
Further we are not trying to be an ‘online opticians’. What we are; is simply an eyewear manufacturer and so we do not require the services of an Optometrist or Dispensing Optician and this allows our staff costs to be much lower. All these cost savings do not reduce the quality of the product, or the accuracy of making your prescription.

So what is the difference to customers? In short we make glasses. We do not offer adjustments, or repairs. All glasses of course can be taken in to an optician who do offer these services and will make a charge for this.

What is the risk? We offer a no quibble refund for all eyewear purchased from us. Simply contact us and we will supply a returns authorization number and we will issue a refund for the product within 7 days of us receiving the product.
